Family Voices
Family Connection serves as the home for the South Carolina chapter of Family Voices. Family Voices is a national grassroots network of families, friends, and advocates for health care services that are family-centered, community-based, comprehensive, coordinated and culturally competent for all children and youth with special health care needs. Family Voices promotes the inclusion of all families as decision makers at all levels of health care; and supports essential partnerships between families and professionals. Through an extensive network of family leaders that listen to families about issues that matter to them, valuable information is provided about children and youth with disabilities and special health care needs to families, policymakers, researchers, the media, and the general public.
