Parent-to-Parent Support

Parents are matched by their expressed concern with another parent of a child with special needs.  Many parents call on their own or are referred with their permission.  Parents  are matched with another parent of a child with special needs who has had or has a similar concern.  This parent has also completed a very special training to become a Support Parent.  Since 1990, more than 700 parents have completed training.  They are the very fabric of Family Connection.  Support Parent Training is offered several times a year in each of Family Connection's seven locations.
