The South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) will release the revised South Carolina (SC) Home and Community-Based Services (HCBS) Statewide Transition Plan for a public comment period beginning Aug. 12, 2019. The revisions are necessary to receive “final approval” of the Statewide Transition Plan as required by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). The public can view the full public notice and revised SC HCBS Statewide Transition Plan online beginning Aug. 12, 2019, at https://msp.scdhhs.gov/hcbs/site-page/hcbs-statewide-transition-plan. The public comment period is Aug. 12-Sept. 13, 2019.
A webinar to discuss the revised SC HCBS Statewide Transition Plan will be held Aug. 20, 2019, at 11:30 a.m. Dr. Kelly Eifert, Project Manager at SCDHHS, will present.
Three public meetings will also be held to review the revised SC HCBS Statewide Transition Plan.
