Title: Increased Confidence and Independence in Children who are Deafblind through Movement

Dr. Beth Foster

Come learn about how increasing movement opportunities in children who are deafblind can further increase confidence, independence, and learning. Techniques and strategies for safe and successful movement activities will be presented along with utilizing student centered preferences and senses to keep them motivated and attentive. At the end of the session, you should have an increased understanding of the benefits of movement to further aid development in other areas related to children who are deafblind.
