Communication Skills
To encourage the development of communication skills for children who are deaf-blind the team must recognize and respond to the child’s communicative attempts even before the child is
communicating in a way that is commonly understood to be “communication”. In this session, we will discuss the WHY, HOW, and NOW WHAT of giving the Communication Matrix.
