Summer Adventure Sensory Friendly Hour

Join a Sensory Friendly Hour before we open to the public on Saturday, July 12th from 9-10am. Regular admission fees apply.

During this hour, we will have a calmer, quieter atmosphere for those guests that may need a more muted sensory experience. The twinkly lights will be off, the background music will be off, and there will be less staff and volunteers around the buildings interacting with guests for an overall quieter experience.

Sensory bags will be available to check out at the front desk in the Environmental Science building during all of our open hours this summer. Inside these bags, you’ll find communication cards, noise cancelling headphones, and a variety of fidget toys.
