Conferences: A conference is a large formal meeting, often lasting a few days, which is organized, with groups of talks on a particular subject or to bring together people who have a common interest. Examples of conferences frequently held by Family Connection are our Annual Hopes and Dreams Conference and our Down Syndrome Conference.
Workshops: a brief intensive educational program or meeting where a group of people share their knowledge or experience and engage in intensive discussion and activity on a particular subject or project in a particular field. These are usually 1-2 hours long and are scheduled for one training day.
