Kiersten is a little girl with a big personality. Full of confidence, she never lets anything stop her from achieving what she wants. Her laughter is contagious and will bring a smile to anyone’s face.

Before Kiersten was born, her family was told she would never walk and may not even survive. Her diagnoses include spina bifida, hydrocephalus, and Chiari malformation, a rare condition affecting the brain and spinal cord. Kiersten is currently learning how to walk and to become even more independent. As a family, they have fought for Kiersten to have an equitable education and the opportunity to do what other girls her age love to do.

Kiersten enjoys dancing, singing, and dressing up as a princess, especially Elsa. Kiersten also likes creating artwork for her family, helping others, and making people laugh.

Kiersten is a ray of sunshine who brightens the world for everyone around her. She is an unstoppable champion!
