Shelby

Shelby was born with a major heart defect and began having seizures by the time she was one. She has now been also diagnosed with autism, severe intellectual disability and an uncontrolled seizure disorder. Despite these conditions, she continues to be a light who brings joy to her family and everyone she meets. She has a contagious laugh and gives the best hugs and pats on the back. Shelby loves music and always wants to be where the action is! She attends church and community outings with her family and attends an adult day program during the week. There, she loves socializing with her peers. Without a doubt, Shelby wants to be safe, loved and included.
