Credits for Continuing Education Units

AHEC: This program is approved for 0.5 CEU’s (5.0 clock hours) of continuing education by Mid-Carolina AHEC, Inc. and meets the SC AHEC Continuing Education Best Practice Standards.  Participants must attend 90% of the program to receive a certificate of attendance.  No partial credit will be given.

FOSTER CARE CREDITS: This program has been approved for all workshops (up to 5 hours for the entire conference).

COUNSELORS & THERAPISTS: This program has been pre-approved for 5.0 hours of continuing education by SC AHEC under its accreditation by the SC Board of Examiners for Licensure of Professional Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists and Psycho-Educational Specialists.

NURSING:   Mid-Carolina AHEC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by South Carolina Nurses Association an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

This nursing continuing education activity approval # 2110-022PR-435 has been approved for 5.0 hours.

SOCIAL WORKERS: This program has been approved by the SC Board of Social Work Examiners for 1.0 clock hours of social work and 4.0 clock hours of Non-social work continuing education.

NOTE: Time spent in this event may meet competencies and training requirements associated with SCIMHA’s Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health endorsement. The endorsement is a credentialing process that supports and recognizes the professional development of those who work with or on behalf of infants, toddlers, young children, and their families and caregivers. BabyNet personnel SC Part C Credential renewal credit will be provided for the 2024 Hopes and Dreams Conference. BabyNet personnel will need to email [email protected] to have the 2024 Hopes & Dreams Conference evaluation added to their training account.  Attendees will be asked to provide the name and brief description of the workshop that they attended during each of the breakout sessions.
