Matthew did not come into this world easily. The night he was born, he already had several broken bones, including his femur. His doctors soon diagnosed him with Osteogenesis lmperfecta, a genetic bone disorder that made his entire skeletal structure extremely fragile. His parents were told he would never walk and despite entering the world in incredible pain, he has survived and proven everyone wrong, learning to walk. Matthew loves to collect Marvel items, go to Comic Con and watch superhero movies! His favorite show is Speechless and he loves the Discovery Channel and documentaries, video games, and 80s music.

His mother is most proud of his strength and determination, and hopes he can continue to be happy and surrounded by good people.
