Before Haidyn was even born, this little girl was making her presence known. Given the nickname ‘Diva’ at 29 weeks, she is strong-willed, sassy, and a guaranteed good time. Haidyn loves dancing, listening to music, and snacking on McDonald’s french fries. She is a local celebrity in her hometown and sometimes you can even find her putting on a performance in the waiting room while she and others wait to get blood work.

Haidyn was born weighing only two pounds, but she fought her way into this world. During her stay in the NICU, Haidyn was off of oxygen within three weeks. She pulled her tubes out and rolled over. Her diagnosis of Down syndrome does not take away from her larger-than-life personality. She knows innately when someone needs a hug and never gives up. She provides an inspiration to all.

Her mom, Yolanda says, “Haidyn has a magical gift when she enters any room, at any time, and at any event. She displays a ray of sunshine within her aura.”
