The Palmetto ABLE Savings Program allows individuals with disabilities and the families who care for them to save money while maintaining eligibility for important needs-based benefits. In this session, we will discuss eligibility, opening and managing a Palmetto ABLE account, using funds on qualified disability expenses, and much more.
This webinar will be hosted by Karen Crider, Program Manager of the Palmetto ABLE Savings Program.
Karen joined the Treasurer’s Office before the program opened for enrollment and works closely with the disability community throughout South Carolina. Since 2017, almost 2,400 accounts have opened statewide.
