A charming young man, Jaxon knows that kisses and cuddles will get him whatever he is wanting in the moment. Jaxon is a beam of joy and puts a smile on anyone’s face he comes into contact with. He enjoys flash cards, jumping, building blocks, and going for rides in his little vehicles.
Jaxon works hard with his therapists. He has a diagnosis of autism. He started off with no communication and now has transitioned to an AAC device. He has made other great strides over the years. He currently is putting together puzzles, identifying shapes and colors, and reading. He used to be finicky about eating, but now he is trying new foods!
This little boy is showing his family what real acceptance and inclusiveness means. Jaxon has taught them how to be more patient and understanding. Because of him, his mom, Brandi feels she is an overall stronger advocate for her children.
“Jaxon inspires me to continue to push through the challenges of life,” his mom said. “He shows me that no matter what, if we put our minds to it, it can be done! His willingness to adapt is unmatched!”
