Not knowing what a challenge is, Tripp conquers life with grit and resilience. When his mind is made up, you can’t change it. His determination in perfecting a new skill, overcoming setbacks, or just wanting things his way is a force to be reckoned with.
Tripp is often playing in the water, eating crunchy foods, jumping in his bounce house, or playing outside. One of his favorite activities is attending school. He always leaves the house with a smile on his face.
Around 18 months old, Tripp’s parents noticed delays. He was soon referred to BabyNet and developmental pediatrics. On his second birthday, he was diagnosed with autism and global developmental delay.
“We want the world to know just how extraordinary and unique Tripp’s strengths, abilities and personality are. He may view the world differently and communicate in ways that are not typical, but he is still capable of experiencing joy, love, and success,” Tripp’s parents say. “We want others to understand, accept, and support Tripp like any other person. He is not defined by his diagnosis. He is defined by his passion and the love he brings into the world.”
