A go with the flow and calm little boy is who Alexis is. He is very sociable and very affectionate. One of his favorite things to do is give hugs. He is a hard worker and in school his teachers admire his determination to reach his goals.
Being diagnosed with autism, Alexis used to be nonverbal. Currently, he is learning to speak and already says many words. It was hard at first finding out why he was not speaking and figuring out what resources to utilize to get him help. At school he is able to use technology to help communicate better.
Alexis loves numbers, from writing them to doing math, he is happy as a clam. He also enjoys writing and coloring. Another activity he enjoys is playing with blocks. He loves attending school and seeing all his friends.
“He is a fighter, and he is progressing day by day,” Alexis’s mom said. “He brings love and happiness to our family every day.”
