At six years old, Jack embodies boundless energy and infectious joy. Jack’s carefree nature brings endless joy to his family. He finds delight in running, jumping, and exploring the outdoors. He has a fascination with music, race cars, fire trucks, and emergency vehicles.
The Simpson family is eager for Jack to participate in events like the LOOK! exhibit to spread awareness about autism.
Jack’s parents reached out to Family Connection for support and information on how to effectively advocate for his educational needs. After gaining those skills and confidence, his parents were able to advocate for him to transfer to a new school which could better meet his needs.
Jack’s presence inspires everyone around him to be better advocates for those with disabilities and to help spread awareness. Proud moments like receiving the Terrific Kid award and achieving greater independence fill his family with pride.
Jack’s unique way of learning and his unwavering spirit teach his family patience, understanding, and gratitude. Jack proves that differences are to be celebrated, not diminished.
