Support Group for Parents of Young Children with Autism – In person
Support Groups for Parents of Young Children with Autism
Thanks to a grant from the Carolina Autism and Neurodevelopment (CAN) Research Center, the Autism and Family Lab is offering parent support groups to meet the needs of SC families. Parenting a child or adult with autism is filled with both joy and challenges—and no one should have to navigate it alone. Our support groups offer a safe, welcoming space to connect, share, and grow together.
What you’ll find in our groups:
-
Support from other parents in a judgment-free environment
-
Shared stories, strategies, and encouragement
-
Practical information about services and family life
-
Come as you are—participate at your own pace
We offer four unique support groups, each led by trained facilitators and tailored to meet the specific needs of different caregiving journeys
