Henry brings immense joy to his family. His infectious happiness, determination, and unique perspective on life brighten every day. Henry’s personality is sweet and content—he is often humming or singing, and his love for the small things in life, like splashing in puddles or laughing with his family, is truly heartwarming. His perseverance is unmatched, as seen in the way he spent over 30 minutes figuring out how to put on a pair of rain boots at just two years old—never giving up, even when it seemed impossible.
What inspires his family most is Henry’s pure joy. He finds beauty in the smallest details, whether it is a song he is singing or a simple moment of laughter. His family hopes that Henry will continue to embrace life with the same enthusiasm, never losing his spark of happiness. Despite the unknowns of the future, they have learned to appreciate every victory—both big and small—and to slow down and savor the moments that matter most.
Henry’s journey has been filled with early challenges and incredible growth. Born at the start of the pandemic, his parents quickly noticed developmental differences and sought early intervention. By age two, Henry was officially diagnosed as autistic, and he has been in speech, occupational, physical, and music therapy since he was 17 months old.
Henry is a reminder that, just like everyone else, he wants to laugh, have fun, and do his best. His family is proud of the progress he has made and is excited to support him in all his future adventures.
