There is something magnetic about Kennedi—a spark in her smile, a rhythm in her step, and a creativity that draws others to her. From the very beginning, Kennedi has been full of surprises. Her life continues to unfold in beautiful and unexpected ways, shaping not only her own story but also the hearts of everyone around her.
When Kennedi was diagnosed with autism, her family faced uncertainty, but they also discovered just how strong and determined their little girl truly is. Starting Pre-K marked a major milestone. Most recently, she began ABA therapy and is making great strides in her social development.
One unforgettable moment happened at a community event, when another little girl asked Kennedi to play, and she said yes. While she had previously engaged mostly in parallel play, this new interaction brought happy tears to her family’s faces and marked a beautiful leap forward in her journey.
Kennedi exudes joy. Whether she is sculpting 3D Play-Doh figures (which she started doing at just 3 years old), painting, reading, dancing on a whim, or helping in the kitchen, she is always creating. She loves science, has a quick mind, and learns simply by observing. Her tenacity is unmatched and when faced with a challenge, she does not back down. She will think it through, try her best, and is not afraid to ask for help when she needs it.
Kennedi has changed her family in all the best ways. What they once feared might be difficult has turned out to be a blessing. Her presence has brought more patience, more purpose, and a deeper drive to advocate for others.
Her parents dream of a future where she is not held back by labels—a world where she can reach for the stars and be exactly who she is. They also believe Kennedi will continue to bring out the best in others, just by being herself.
