Buddy Walk Tailgates

Teams who wish to tailgate must reserve their spots by Friday, October 18. Email Jacki at [email protected]

Tailgaters will receive a group of 6 parking spaces in the designated tailgating section of the parking lot.

Any additional cars associated with your group must park in regular spots in the main parking lot or overflow parking lot.

Gates will open for tailgaters at 11:00 a.m. on Buddy Walk Day.

Please follow directions from our parking volunteers and adhere to any posted regulations regarding traffic flow.

Drivers: Be alert and proceed cautiously as children or families may be standing or walking around the tailgating areas.

Tents: Please use sandbags to hold down tent poles.

Grills: Grilling is allowed in the tailgating area. Grills must be attended at all times. No dumping of coals will be permitted.

Dogs: Dogs are allowed in the tailgating/parking lot areas only, and must be on a leash at all times.  No dogs are permitted on the athletic fields at any time, with the exception of service animals.

When you are ready to leave: Please do not leave any trash in your tailgating spaces. Receptacles will be on site. Continue to use caution when exiting the park.

Thank you for participating in our Buddy Walk festivities!

Tailgating Competition

We will have a panel of judges visiting the tailgating area between 1:00 and 2:00 p.m.  Prizes will be awarded during the closing ceremonies for the following categories:

Appearance: How attractive is the tailgate space?  Does it draw attention? Does it incorporate Buddy Walk colors?

Creativity: Is there a unique theme? Does the theme relate to the Buddy Walk? Is the theme represented throughout the tailgate?

Interaction: Are there activities for other families to participate in?  Do the members of the tailgate team interact with you?
