DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP:    The Learning Engagement Coaches from the SCDE Office of Early Learning and Literacy work to empower families, strengthen communities, and help students succeed on their journey to kindergarten. Learning Engagement Coaches collaborate with districts, schools, and local service agencies to support families across South Carolina.  This fourth and last lunch and learn literacy session focuses on establishing reading as a habit, creating daily opportunities for children to read, and nurturing their growth as a reader. Join us to learn how to improve literacy through developing a habit-forming and nurturing environment.
