DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP: Do special education terms and acronyms seem like alphabet soup? Jumbled up and confusing? This training will help BIPs and FBAs make sense! In Part 2, we will review Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP) process when there is a concern regarding their child’s behavior in school – from Part 1. During this workshop participants will also learn about procedural safeguards for students related to discipline; specifically, manifestation determination review (MDR).
