Isla was a fighter from the moment she was born. She loves to listen to music.
Isla was born at 23 weeks and spent almost six months in the NICU. Despite all of the obstacles she has been through, she is one strong little girl. She has two shunts, a trach and a g-tube. She is also blind, has hearing difficulties and has cerebral palsy.
Isla works hard with her therapist. When she doesn’t like something, she will make a crying face or cry out loud if she has her valve on. If she likes something, she will smile with her whole mouth open.
Her family is so proud of how hard Isla works with her therapist and how she tries to replicate things when her therapist is not around. Hopefully, she can get off her trach soon, and her family can find ways to help her with her sight and hearing.
They want the world to know that this little fighter is a loving, caring, sweet little girl who will do things her way in her own time.
