Raelynn loves helping others and has the sweetest heart. She loves singing (in private) and recently discovered the delightful challenge of Legos. Raelynn absolutely loves participating in pageants and doing hair and makeup. She is unique, loving, and all about the glitz!
When Raelynn began having health struggles earlier in her teens, several diagnoses were suspected but eventually she was diagnosed with a connective tissue disorder – Hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome. For Raelynn, this means chronic joint pain, dislocations, and joint hypermobility. Raelynn has had multiple hospital stays, and she and her family continue to learn more about managing this condition.
Raelynn recently delivered a remarkable pageant performance, showing true resilience as she pushed through exhaustion and pain. Although she did not win a title that day, the moment that stayed with her came afterward, when a grandmother shared that Raelynn’s kindness had helped her granddaughter feel like she truly belonged. For Raelynn and her mother, that heartfelt connection meant far more than any crown ever could.
If you want to hear Raelynn laugh, watch her around animals, let her be goofy at home, or see her enjoy all the fun and silliness that happens at pageants. Where she truly shines is in the way she treats people—not for recognition but out of true compassion and empathy. Her family calls her their “Rae of Sunshine” because she brings them so much joy. They hope she continues to be a light for others and a lighthouse for God.
