David required open heart surgery as an infant, and has navigated Autism, anxiety, and developmental delays. Today, he is thriving as an actor, pianist, dancer, and avid Gamecocks fan. Whether on stage or in the stands, he refuses to let obstacles bring him down. Most recently, he has been facing his fears and embarking on new experiences—even petting a dog for the first time after being afraid to do so for years! He can always be counted on to help with chores and doing precisely what needs to be done before going out to have fun.
David’s family truly enjoys his adventurous spirit, his love for traveling to new places, visiting the library, and going swimming. He encourages them to leave their own comfort zones behind to see all that life has to offer. David is thriving and his family is looking forward to supporting him through the next steps on his magnificent pathway through life
