Claire is a joyful young lady who loves others. Whether she’s singing or dancing, you’ll find her leading the group and encouraging others to join in. She loves to read, play with Barbies, swim and play soccer.

Claire is very active at Beechwood Middle School as the volleyball manager and is also involved in theater and dance. She also won Miss People’s Choice at school!

Claire has met milestones her parents didn’t know were possible because of her diagnosis of Down Syndrome. She has a love of reading and her parents love watching her grow and learn. They are thrilled to have found educators who embrace Claire. Claire has had physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy and early intervention. As a family, they have advocated for IEP goals.

Her mom is always proud to see Claire on stage and loves how brave she is. When she started middle school, her mom beamed with pride to see her walk in by herself and show her independence.
Her parents envision a path that satisfies her love of reading, and they hope she always feels safe and loved.

Claire is an asset to her community, showing her constant joy and resilience.
