Section 504 is a federal law that ensures students are not discriminated against on the basis of their disability. This informational session will provide an overview of the 504 processes.

Participants will understand:

• the requirements of Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973.
• best practice for the process schools should use to evaluate for eligibility under Section 504.
• the components of the 504 plan.
• the types of accommodations and services available to students with disabilities.
