Response to Intervention and Referral for Special Education Services

Jenny Saunders, a school psychologist and parent of a child with a disability, will share the response to the intervention process and provide guidance on when teams should consider moving forward with a referral for an evaluation to determine whether a child is eligible for special education services.
Participants will understand the response to the intervention process, identify the data decision rules a team should use to intensify interventions, and recognize when a referral is appropriate.
